Screening
Screening is the operation that sorts out particles according to their dimension, regardless of the type of material, shape or dimensions. The material is laid onto a screen, which allows particles smaller than the perforations to pass through and retains the larger particles, which are redirected elsewhere. Refining the product by retaining the undesired diameter allows us to obtain the very specific particle sizing distributions desired by the client. The screening operation normally follows a crushing process. Minéraux Mart uses different screens and screen configurations depending on the client’s needs.
